There are a number of benefits to choosing dentures to replace your missing teeth. Dentures will allow you to have a full, natural looking smile, as they are long lasting, enabling you to eat a wider variety of foods and speak comfortably. They can also be easily removed and offer support to your remaining teeth, ensuring they remain strong with minimal discomfort. We offer metal, acrylic, high impact and flexible dentures with the ability to use various clasps.
Our dentists will discuss all options with you during an initial consultation, to understand your needs and support you with the best denture solution to suit you. Complete dentures replace a full arch if you have lost all of your teeth, partial dentures replace one or more teeth and are used if you still have some of your own teeth, and implant secured dentures use dental implants to secure your dentures in place.
Dentures must be looked after as if they were your natural teeth. Plaque can develop on dentures in much the same way as it can on natural teeth, which can put you at risk of gum disease. With removable dentures, we recommend you take them out and clean them thoroughly with a soft brush regularly. They should then be rinsed and soaked overnight in a denture cleaner. Remember to keep your mouth clean too, by gently brushing your gums and tongue with a soft brush and rinsing with a mouthwash.
